I would like to start this post off with an apology. I have been absent from my blog for a couple of weeks and it may take a little time for me to be back full-time. First, I wasn’t feeling well because my feeding tube, which was surgically implanted just above my bellybutton through my skin and down through to my stomach, it HURT SOOOOOOO MUCH because it got infected and I have been on antibiotics since. Then, secondly, I had an appointment to have my feeding tube taken out – OUCHY – and replaced with a new one. Yay! And thirdly, my computer – my very expensive special computer that costs A LOT of money – has decided that it hates the WordPress website. This is the problem that will be the reason that my posts will be sporadic until the new computer gets here OR I figure out what is going on. I’m thinking that we will be waiting until the new one gets here! lol
On to the quote!
“Though she be but little, she is fierce!”
William Shakespeare, A Midsummer Night’s Dream
I’m a bit of a Shakespeare geek! OKAY, okay…a lot! I am actually a geek when it comes to old English literature. I love the old romance of those stories! Not the new romance that spends many chapters focused on sex (I’ve read my fair share of smutty books too lol) but the old ones that draw you in and hook you with just their words.
I love this quote so much that I bought my niece a t-shirt with it on the front. I want her to always remember that she has the power to do or be whatever she wants because she is FIERCE!
This is my second quote in what I understand is a three quote challenge. I was nominated for this challenge by my wonderful new friend Carol! I lovelovelove her 2 blogs! You should check her out at…
OR…

It is also customary to nominate three other bloggers to pick up the challenge.. knowing how busy you are I will not be offended if you cannot participate but it is an excuse to give your latest post a plug anyway.
My first nominee is Rosie from Wish to Dish! I just love the food that she creates. It is simple to put together, tasty looking and often a wide variety to choose from! Check her out at https://wishtodish.co.uk/2017/11/21/gnocchi-bolognese-bake/
My second nominee is Gabi at Goods by Gabi! She is a college student who loves to bake. She bakes up some pretty yummy looking goods everyone! You can find her here https://goodsbygabi.com/2017/11/27/pecan-pie-bars/
The third nominee is sooooo new to me that I don’t even know her name BUT I just really love reading her blog Farm Sweet Farm! She is a city girl who met a handsome country boy and moved to the farm. You will not be disappointed by reading her blog! https://farmsweetfarm.blog/2017/11/24/moms-candied-sweet-potatoes/
Well, this post has taken forever! I don’t know when my computer will let me post again but I will keep trying! Sorry!
Lisa – sorry to hear about your computer. Is it something that I can help with?

No, it’s just getting old and the platform that it’s built on can not support everything I use it for. They are getting me a new one but that process is slower than cold molasses!

Reblogged this on Retired? No one told me! and commented:
We could all learn a lot from this lady..She never, ever ceases to amaze me and that takes a lot….So if you are feeling life isn’t treating you well…Then take a peak inside Lisa’a World…Your life will then not suck quite so much…..There is a lesson here and we should all be thankful for small mercies….The one fault Lisa has and it is a big one… she is loathe to share her ice cream with me….Much love and hugs to you Lisa xxx

your niece wears that t all the time … one mid summer night up at the tree house I pulled out your ginormouse shakespeare compilation at showed both she and your godson exactly where the famouse line sat within the said play … they were wowing it up … I can’t explain the looks on their faces and the questions … so much perspective … I told them it is you who is fierce … they already knew … I love you lil one xox

Lovely to meet you, Lisa (through Carol). I am sorry to read about your health difficulties. I hope that you are feeling better now. Shakespeare is one of my favourites too.
