I wish I had a picture of my Nanny standing at the stove, her trusted big spaghetti pot in front of her - you know the one that all grandmothers seem to have just for the big stuff like spaghetti sauce or soup - stirring the sauce. She would have been in one of her … Continue reading Nanny’s Spaghetti Sauce And Her Secret Ingredient!

Chicken Meatballs
I think that theses chicken meatballs look really easy and delicious! You could make them with ground turkey (Alison) if you prefer.
If you don’t have any string cheese sticks, you can omit it or use other cheese. Mozzarella would be nice!
Happy cooking!
I’ve had an emotional day. I can’t tell you exactly why, but I’m pretty sure it has a lot to do with my hashimotos disease. Sometimes I’m super grumpy and I cry or get angry for no reason at all. For whatever reason cooking makes me feel better. Why shouldn’t I go ahead and make some lunches for the little munchkin? I always like to have food that is processed as little as I possibly can. Aunt Paul’s Stuffed Jumbo Pasta Shells
This recipe was inspired first, by a recipe that I had found on the AllRecipes site (I'll provide the link at the end) and secondly by a recipe on the back of the Italpasta jumbo shells package. You see, I had emailed the Allrecipe one to my family awhile back and it was a huge … Continue reading Aunt Paul’s Stuffed Jumbo Pasta Shells
Spinach and Sun-Dried Tomato Pasta
Did you know that I went through a period of time where I was a vegetarian? Yeah, it's true. I was not a strict vegetarian. I still ate dairy, eggs and occasionally fish. As long as the fish didn't have a face - that I could see anyway - I would eat it. Hey, I … Continue reading Spinach and Sun-Dried Tomato Pasta
