I’ve Been Schooled…Again!

This morning I woke to find an email from my wonderful Aunt Paulette. She was telling me that she had gone to Loblaws to pick up some sale items including some Kraft peanut butter at $2.99. You see, she has a dear friend whose Father loves peanut butter cookies so every time peanut butter goes on sale she stocks up. She then proceeded to tell me that while Loblaws has it on sale for $2.99, it WAS NOT in fact the best sale this week! Food Basics has it on sale for $2.88! Well, I’ve been schooled again!

I apologize for not letting you know. I’m sure that you will forgive me my transgression. It’s not like I have the weekly flyers delivered to my hospital room! lol

Because of this oversight, I will be adding the following stores to my weekly flyer report – starting with this week’s sales – Food Basics and FreshCo. Food Basics and Metro are run by the same company. FreshCo is associated with Sobeys. For this week…

FreshCo: Kettle brand chips, Pringles ($1.69), Miss Vickie’s chips, Cedar canned beans (not baked beans, legumes), POM juices, iceberg lettuce, 6 pack of mini cucumbers, mini watermelons, honeydew melons, 2 lb bags of clementines, fresh chicken drumsticks or thighs, Shopsy’s deli fresh wieners or Maple Leaf Natural Selection chicken wieners and Philadelphia cream cheese or dips.

Food Basics: pork tenderloin or back ribs, Irresistables frozen fruit, asparagus, Gallo extra virgin olive oil, KRAFT PEANUT BUTTER, strawberries, pineapple, Rudolph’s rye bread, Grainhouse hotdog or hamburger buns, Quaker granola bars, Mann’s broccoli or colorful slaw, green beans, Yoplait yogurt tubes, Marc Angelo pork souvlaki, Brandt kolbassa or polish sausage, The Laughing Cow cheese, sliced mushrooms and Betty Crocker cake mixes.

Woooo…that was a mouthful! Happy shopping everyone!
