This week Loblaws takes the gold star – if you can actually get the advertised sales! Loblaws, Loblaws, Loblaws! Oh how you have been naughty! Week after week you don’t stock enough of the products that you have advertised. And if you’re shopping online, you better click no for substitutions or Loblaws will give you the closest available product AND charge you the extra! When you’re talking about meat especially, you could double the price just because Loblaws didn’t stock appropriately for their sale. Good for Loblaws, not so good for you!
Walmart is still being sneaky buggers with their “New Lower Prices” advertising campaign but at least when they run out a product on sale, if you order online they substitute the closest product available BUT they DO NOT charge you extra. Woo hoo Walmart for that!
