Weekly Flyer Review – Groceries

Starting last week, the flyers have begun to focus on Thanksgiving. Halloween candy started with the back to school campaign.  I think that’s terrible but then again I’m not a parent so who am I to say.

When is Thanksgiving anyway? I kind of live in a bubble here in the hospital and time passes but it really means nothing. Turkeys were on sale at a few places last week but only Walmart has them this week. Baking supplies have begun to make an appearance in the flyers, just in time for the beginning of the holiday season. If you are like my Aunt Paul, October marks the start of beginning the fruitcake bake-off! These babies need to be “watered” from October to December so you get your buzz from your cake! lol

Hmmmmm, maybe I can convince her to share her recipe!
