Me!
I was diagnosed with ALS at the age of 30. I’ve been living with the disease now for quite some time – never ask a lady her age people! Let’s just say that I may give Mr. Hawkins a run for his money…please let me have some of his money! lol
In the last little while, I’ve been sharing my recipes – I loved to cook and my family really enjoyed what I created – and my often crazy thoughts.
I’m also a shopaholic! People always wonder where I find things and how I get such great deals. I’m going to share my tips and tricks for getting amazing deals here too! I hope you enjoy my blog!
Update!
I am going to change my blog a little. My health is getting worse and I don’t have the energy to post as much as I had. For shopping tips, my older posts still hold true. I simply cannot post the grocery deals of the week. I am going to keep sharing my recipes and my crazy thoughts. I’m going to add some of my stories so my people will have a place to go when I’m gone. Love you all! xo
I’m very much enjoying your blog Lisa. I think of you often and feel closer to you through this. Hugs and love, Aunt Deb xoxo

You’re right! Blog is such a weird word. What’s really funny is the fact that when we were young, computers were only for the rich and they were HUGE! Plus, there was no internet! lol

I remember you! You wanted my recipes for home-made ice cream. Did you find them. You can find them under recipes. I hope you find them and try them out! Thanks for remembering me. And thanks for the praise. I don’t really deserve it but thank you anyway. Xo

Hi Lisa, I have the great privilege of working for and reporting to your cousin Alison, she is a HOOT! and an absolute joy to work with. She hooked me up with your blog and now she can’t possibly give me hell for reading your blog instead of working…..can she?

Hardly! In fact, I think that you should probably dedicate at least one hour per day for reading my previous posts. All will be good with Alison I guarantee you. What you think about her being The boss simply isn’t true. It is me who Lords over you all! lol

okay if you insist Lisa, ……….I am trying to NOT succumb to the temptation to blow the day away reading your blog and fantasising about your recipes ( TRYING to lose weight or at least not put any more on)
I used to live directly across the street from St V’s, with my maternal Granny. She owned that great big brick 3 story house right at the corner of Cambridge and Laurier west. Is there still a grotto on the grounds with a statue of the Virgin Mary? It used to be lit up with this eeeeerie blue light at night and it gave me the willlies something awful.
Best get some work done, Alison IS a sweetie but I imagine even she has her limits regarding employees doing SFA ALLLLL day….
Have a happy day, nice talking to you
